Reminders
My reminders are not arriving
Check these in order:
- Notifications for Ibdar are allowed in your phone's settings.
- A Focus or Do Not Disturb mode is not silencing them.
- On Android, battery saving is not stopping Ibdar.
- Open Ibdar once after changing the time zone or the phone's date.
How do I change when I am reminded?
Open Reminders and tap a reminder to change its day and time. You can have up to three.
How do I change or turn off the voice?
Each fast can use its own voice, the phone's default sound, or no sound. Change it in the app's reminder sound settings.
Dates
The dates are a day off for my country
When a month begins, answer Ibdar's question with "a day earlier" or "a day later". That month's fasts and reminders move with your answer.
Can I use a different calendar?
Ibdar follows Umm al-Qura (Saudi Arabia) for now.
Sharing and widgets
What does a shared link show?
A page with the fast's dates and the calendar they follow. The person you share with does not need the app to see it.
My widget shows "Open Ibdar"
Open the app once so it can save the next fast, then wait a few minutes. If it stays, remove the widget and add it again.
