In short

Ibdar collects nothing about you. It has no account, does not use your location, and makes no internet request of its own. Everything it knows stays on your phone and is deleted when you delete the app.

What the app keeps on your phone

  • Your choices: which fasts to show, your reminders, sounds, language and theme.
  • Your answers to the monthly date check, so the dates match where you live.
  • Reminders scheduled with your phone's own notification system.

Ibdar never sends any of this anywhere, and we cannot see it. If your phone's backup is turned on, the backup may include it.

What the app never does

No account or sign-in, no location, no contacts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

Ibdar adds no crash-reporting tool. Apple and Google may share anonymous crash reports with the developer if you allow that in your phone's settings.

Sharing a fast

When you share a fast, Ibdar hands a message to your phone's share sheet and you choose where it goes. The link holds only the fast, its dates, the calendar and the language, after a # sign, so it is never sent to our website's server.

This website

The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If you choose Light or Dark with the theme button, your browser remembers that choice on your device. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us.

Children

Ibdar collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact
